PPP Projects in health, sanitation, education, and transport attract interest from European investor
Lima, September 11, 2025.- PROINVERSIÓN’s Executive Director, Tabata Vivanco del Castillo, reported that the portfolio of Public–Private Partnership (PPP) projects, presented by the Agency at the XVIII Europe Roadshow 2025, has generated significant interest among investors, particularly in hospital, sanitation, school, and transport projects, all of which have a high social impact for the population.
The Roadshow concluded today, Thursday, September 11, in the city of Santander (Spain) with the seminar Investing in Peru, during which PROINVERSIÓN’s Executive Director presented a portfolio of 80 PPP projects worth over US$ 20 billion, spanning sectors such as sanitation, transport, health, education, energy, tourism, and real estate, among others.
PROINVERSIÓN’s Executive Director emphasized that the four days of intensive work reaffirmed confidence in Peru as a country with excellent investment opportunities. “We have reaffirmed that we have a stable government policy and a reliable legal framework, where contracts and our partners are respected. PROINVERSIÓN reaffirms its role as a strategic partner between the private and public sectors, with the aim of closing gaps,” she stated.
Likewise, the head of the Agency emphasized that PROINVERSIÓN’s work is not limited to awarding projects, but also ensuring their execution within the planned timelines to provide the population with quality infrastructure and public services.
Regarding future prospects, the Executive Director noted that the awards planned for the remainder of 2025 and 2026 are favorable, even in an election context, thanks to the strength of fiscal policy and the country’s macroeconomic indicators, led by the MEF. "At PROINVERSIÓN, we will continue working with transparency and continuity, always identifying opportunities for improvement and maintaining an open-door policy, with the aim of implementing the strategic projects that the country needs,” she stated.
Vivanco del Castillo also highlighted that, within the framework of the Roadshow, numerous meetings were held with investors, confirming strong interest in the presented portfolio. “If we work with transparency and clarity, no electoral process will stop us; investments will come, and we are working intensively to make that happen,” she added.
During the four days of activities, the PROINVERSIÓN team, led by its Executive Director, promoted the portfolio of PPP and Projects in Assets, held meetings with investment funds, banks, consulting firms, operators, and European developers, participated in multisectoral dialogue forums alongside Peruvian economic authorities and European business representatives, and reinforced Peru’s image as a reliable and competitive destination for infrastructure investment.
