About the project
La IPC tiene como objetivo el otorgamiento de una concesión por un plazo de 25 años y contempla el diseño, construcción y operación del denominado sistema hídrico integral en el valle de Chancay-Lambayeque, mediante la construcción de dos presas (Montería y Sicán) y la ejecución de obras de conducción y distribución para irrigar 33,200 nuevas hectáreas. Asimismo, se desarrollará la operación y mantenimiento de las estructuras existentes (actualmente bajo la gerencia del PEOT). Actualmente, se viene gestionando la suscripción del Convenio de Colaboración Institucional entre el GORE LAMBAYEQUE, MIDAGRI y PROINVERSIÓN, que entre otros aspectos, permitirá el cambio de alcances de la IPC.
