PROINVERSIÓN: The Peruvian Navy and the Peruvian Air Force present 43 assets with high commercial potential to be developed through Projects in Assets

Properties located in different regions could become projects that generate jobs, services, and income for the armed forces. PROINVERSIÓN signed a technical assistance agreement with the Peruvian Air Force (FAP) and facilitated meetings with potential investors.

Lima, September 25, 2026.- The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN), under the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), reported that the Peruvian Navy and the Peruvian Air Force (FAP) presented the private sector with an initial portfolio of 43 assets strategically located nationwide, with the potential to be enhanced through Projects in Assets.

The presentation took place during the 7th edition of “Investment Opportunities in Projects in Assets: Properties of the Peruvian Armed Forces for Private-Sector Initiatives,” organized by PROINVERSIÓN. The properties offer opportunities to develop real estate, commercial, logistics, energy, tourism, industrial and sports projects, among others.

Enhancing the value of these spaces can open up new opportunities for regions, such as attracting investment, boosting economic activity, and creating jobs. It would also allow the armed institutions to obtain resources to help them achieve their institutional objectives.

As part of the event, PROINVERSIÓN facilitated bilateral meetings between representatives of the Peruvian Navy, the Peruvian Air Force, and potential investors. During these meetings, preliminary consultations and ideas about possible projects were exchanged. This dialogue will make it possible to gauge market interest and evaluate more specific proposals, with technical support from the Agency and in a transparent environment.

The event continued the work initiated in 2025 to promote the real estate assets of the Peruvian Armed Forces. As a result of the activities carried out to date, two private initiatives related to Peruvian Navy assets and one related to a Peruvian Army asset have been received.

During the event, PROINVERSIÓN and the FAP also signed a Technical Assistance Agreement under Law No. 32441. The two-year agreement will enable the Agency to provide technical assistance, strengthen institutional capacities, and carry out promotional activities to identify potential investors at the various stages of Projects in Assets.

PROJECTS IN ASSETS

This modality allows public land and real estate assets to be leveraged through projects developed with private investment, without the public entity relinquishing ownership of the assets. Thus, assets with potential for use can generate economic and social value.

For entities, it represents an opportunity to generate income and strengthen their institutional capacity. For citizens, projects that come to fruition can translate into new services, economic activity, and jobs in their communities.

PROINVERSIÓN will continue to provide technical assistance to public entities and promote projects that convert the potential of their assets into development opportunities for the country.
