The Private Investment Promotion Agency – PROINVERSIÓN, is a specialized technical agency, attached to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, with legal status under public law and technical, functional, administrative, economic, and financial autonomy. It is state-funded.

PROINVERSIÓN promotes private investment through Public-Private Parentships, Projects in Assets and Works for Taxes, for their incorporation in public services, public infrastructure, in assets, projects, and State-owned companies, in accordance with its powers.

PROINVERSIÓN, in its capacity as the Private Investment Promotion Agency, is in charge of the projects of national relevance that are assigned to it, or those received on behalf of the three Government levels.

PROINVERSIÓN exercises its powers throughout the country. Its headquarters are located in the city of Lima, and it may have decentralized offices in other cities of the country.

Modalities

We promote private investment—through Public-Private Partnerships, Projects in Assets, and Works for Taxes—to incorporate it into public services, public infrastructure, state assets, and state-owned enterprises, in accordance with our institutional attributions.
