The historic record achieved by the Works for Taxes mechanism during the first four months of the year has been driven by the confidence of both the public and private sectors through the coordination and outreach efforts of PROINVERSIÓN.
The goal is to revitalize projects through Public-Private Partnerships, Projects in Assets, and Works for Taxes to close gaps, boost regional economies, and improve the quality of life for the population.
Today, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the modernization of the Ciro Alegría Institute of Higher Technological Education in Chepén, which will be made possible through this mechanism with an investment of S/ 122.9 million.

The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) presented VERTIX, an innovative digital statistical information tool that allows users to view data, monitor projects, and analyze the investment portfolio promoted by the entity in greater depth.
Investments are concentrated in high–social-impact projects in transport (PEN 1.275 billion), education (PEN 1.168 billion), public order and security (PEN 752 million), and health (PEN 744 million).

The Special Continuous Improvement Award granted by Ciudadanos al Día (BPG Award) highlights the contribution of the Works for Taxes mechanism, promoted by PROINVERSIÓN, which enables companies to gain firsthand experience working jointly with the State and making projects a reality—projects that transform communities across the country.
Between January and October 2025, over S/ 3,400 million was awarded, as a result of coordinated efforts between PROINVERSIÓN and public entities to improve the country’s infrastructure and public services.
