Lima, September 1, 2014. This September 3 (Wed) and 4 (Thu), executive Director of ProInversion Carlos Herrera Perret will undertake a promotion mission in Toronto, Canada, called “Peru, Endless investment opportunities,” with the objective of positioning Peru as an attractive investment market and introducing specific investment opportunities in our country.
A number of Canadian and multi-national companies have already confirmed their attendance to the event. “We have received confirmations from 60 companies in various sectors, such as Infrastructure, Health, Pension Funds and Consultancy,” Herrera said. After the presentation of the portfolio of projects and investment opportunities, Peruvian emissaries will hold bilateral meetings with important companies.
The Road Show has been prepared in collaboration with the Peruvian Embassy in Canada, the Foreign Trade Office and the Canadian Embassy in Peru.

Across the Atlantic, during the Road Show in Europe organized by InPerú, Head of Railway Projects at ProInversion Christy García-Godos will hold bilateral meetings with investors in Madrid (Spain) on September 2 (Tue) and 3 (Wed), and London (United Kingdom) on September 4 (Thu) and 5 (Fri).
In both countries, García-Godos will promote the railway projects that are included in the agency’s portfolio, focusing on Lines 3 and 4 of the Basic Network of the Metro of Lima, and the Huancayo-Huancavelica Railway.
Over the last two decades, Peru has experienced a swift economic growth while becoming one of the best performing economies in Latin America, due to the implementation of responsible and solid policies in trade and economy.
Peru welcomes foreign investments with a favorable, foreseeable and stable legal framework, and offers preferential access to a 3.5 million people market through its trade agreement network, which has attracted foreign investments for more than US$ 85 billion over the last twenty years.
