PROINVERSIÓN OBTAINS ISO ANTI-CORRUPTION CERTIFICATION

Lima, January 3, 2024.- The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN), in the interest of transparency and control of its procedures, completed the ISO 37001 Anticorruption certification process for the contracting processes carried out under the Consultancy Contracting Regulations for private investment promotion processes.

It is worth mentioning that, under the ISO Anticorruption regulation, the aim is to encourage entities to prevent and control internal corruption within the organization, achieving efficient management and promoting ethical values in their actions. The aim is to mitigate the risks of bribery to achieve good governance and reduce obstacles to competition and transparency, and therefore to the country’s development.

Obtaining an ISO Anti-bribery certification allows PROINVERSIÓN to be an organization of integrity, committed to good practices, seeking to ensure the efficient use of public resources and the satisfaction of the population.

PROINVERSIÓN

PROINVERSIÓN is a specialized technical agency, attached to the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), with legal status under public law, and technical, functional, administrative, economic and financial autonomy, constituting its own budget.

We promote private investment through Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), Projects in Assets (PA) and Works for Taxes (OXI), for its incorporation in public services, public infrastructure, in assets, projects, and State-owned companies, under its powers.

As a Private Investment Promotion Agency, PROINVERSIÓN is in charge of the projects of national relevance that are assigned to it, or those received on behalf of the three Government levels.
