In the Junín region, the Private Investment Promotion Agency - PROINVERSIÓN held working meetings with various regional and local authorities to provide technical advice and promote initiatives through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP), Projects in Assets (PA) and Works for Taxes (OxI) mechanisms.

Through Works for Taxes, there are 97 projects under promotion identified jointly with 10 Regional Governments for S/ 6,742 million. Of this portfolio, 15 investments for S/ 361 million are expected to be awarded just in 2024.

Since the creation of the mechanism (2009) until the end of 2023, 530 Works for Taxes projects have been awarded throughout the country, for a total amount of S/ 7,511 million.

The agreement was signed by PROINVERSIÓN, the MEF, MINSA, the Regional Governments of Arequipa and Cusco, the ALOXI alliance, CONFIEP, SNI and other public and private entities.

In Cusco and Arequipa, citizen security and education projects were also awarded to be financed through Tax Works for S/ 16.7 million, with the technical assistance of PROINVERSIÓN

The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) organized the event "WORKS THAT UNITE US: 15 years of Works for Taxes in Peru".

The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) reports that Lima Provinces Region -which includes the Regional Government of Lima Provinces, the provincial municipalities (excluding Metropolitan Lima) and the district municipalities - have S / 370 million to execute investments via Works for Taxes mechanism.

The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) projects that, in 2023, public entities will award at least 19 projects through the Works for Taxes modality, for more than S/ 620 million.

The Private Investment Promotion Agency (ProInversión) reports that 13 projects totaling S/. 242 million soles were awarded in the first half year to be executed through the Works for Taxes system.
