Lima, March 10, 2026.- The Private Investment Promotion Agency – PROINVERSIÓN reported that for the year 2026 it is promoting a portfolio of 44 projects and 8 contractual addenda under the modalities of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) and Projects in Assets (PA), with a goal of reaching investment commitments of US$ 19,797 million.
This portfolio represents a significant increase compared to the US$ 4,756 million recorded in 2025 and includes projects aimed at the development of economic and social infrastructure in various regions of the country, with emphasis on key sectors such as transport, sanitation, health, energy and education.
Of the total initiatives considered for 2026, eight correspond to the Transport sector and represent investments of US$ 1,518 million, projects that would benefit nine regions of the country and that will contribute to improving connectivity, territorial integration and the efficiency of the transport system.
Likewise, six initiatives correspond to the Sanitation sector and represent investments of US$ 2,551 million, projects that would benefit six regions of the country and contribute to improving access to and quality of drinking water and sewerage services.
In the Health sector, four projects are included that will require investments of US$ 1,408 billion and will strengthen the infrastructure and management of health services in Lima and Piura. Among the most relevant initiatives are the new Military Hospital and the project that includes the management of the National Institute of Child Health, located in the district of San Borja.
In Education, PROINVERSIÓN is considering two projects involving investments of US$ 747 million that will benefit the regions of Lima and Cusco, contributing to improving educational infrastructure and the quality of services in this sector.
Likewise, the portfolio for 2026 includes 19 projects in the Energy and Mining sectors representing investments of US$ 3.059 billion, initiatives that will have an impact on 13 regions of the country and that will strengthen the energy infrastructure and the development of activities linked to the sector.
In the Real Estate and Tourism sector, five projects are included with estimated investments of US$ 1.517 billion, which would benefit the same number of regions. Among the most outstanding initiatives are the Huascarán Cable Car, with an investment of US$ 72 million, and the Artificial Peninsula – Gateway to the Pacific project, which contemplates investments of US$ 767 million.
Additionally, PROINVERSIÓN’s portfolio for 2026 incorporates eight contractual addenda that involve investments of US$ 8.997 billion and would benefit 15 regions of the country. Among the main ones are the Addendum to Line 1 of the Lima Metro, for US$ 3.864 billion, whose award is scheduled for the second quarter of the year, as well as the TGP Addendum, for US$ 2 billion, which is expected to be awarded during the third quarter.
With this portfolio of projects and addenda, PROINVERSIÓN seeks to boost infrastructure development in the country, improve the provision of essential services, and promote greater private investment opportunities that contribute to economic growth and the well-being of the population.
