PROINVERSIÓN Launches the Execution of the Ancón Industrial Park with an Investment Exceeding USD 1.2 Billion

The country’s first “dry port” will become the most important project in Northern Lima and is expected to generate more than 120,000 new jobs.

Lima, December 12, 2025.- PROINVERSIÓN, together with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Production, and the Municipality of Ancón, announced the award and commencement of execution of the Ancón Industrial Park (AIP), one of the most ambitious projects in the country, with an investment exceeding USD 1.2 billion over more than 1,300 hectares.

“This will be Peru’s first dry port—a major commercial and logistics hub directly connected to Jorge Chávez International Airport and two of Latin America’s most important ports: Chancay and Callao,” highlighted PROINVERSIÓN Executive Director Luis Del Carpio.

The project was awarded to the Junefield Ancón Industrial Park Consortium through a transparent and orderly process led by PROINVERSIÓN, reinforcing investor confidence and demonstrating the effectiveness of public-private collaboration.

More than 400,000 people will benefit from this modern infrastructure, which will streamline customs clearance, storage, cargo consolidation, and commercial operations throughout northern Lima.

SMEs TO BENEFIT

The AIP will host more than 200 companies, creating a network that will boost exports, cargo movement, and productive activity. “The project’s design enables productive linkages, with SMEs supplying anchor companies, fostering technology transfer, value-added production, and the creation of over 120,000 new jobs,” stated Minister of Production César Quispe.

The award ceremony was attended by the representative of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), Mario Guido Valverde, and the representative of the Ministry of Production (PRODUCE), Marybel Vidal Matos.

The commencement of execution of the Ancón Industrial Park also represents a clear demonstration of the political commitment of the Transitional and National Reconciliation Government to promote strategic projects that will position Peru as a new key hub for international trade.
