MEF APPOINTS TABATA VIVANCO DEL CASTILLO AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF PROINVERSIÓN

Lima, September 3, 2025.- The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) today appointed Tabata Vivanco del Castillo as Executive Director of the Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN), through Supreme Resolution No. 025-2025-EF, published today in the Legal Norms section of the Official Gazette El Peruano.

The new head of PROINVERSIÓN has more than 20 years of experience in the public sector, holding Senior Management positions in various ministries, such as Labor and Employment Promotion, Energy and Mines, Production, Interior, Women and Vulnerable Populations, and Development and Social Inclusion.

Vivanco del Castillo is a lawyer by profession and holds a Master’s Degree in Political Communication and Strategic Governance from George Washington University (USA). She chaired the Board of Directors of CORPAC and headed the General Directorate of Transport Programs and Projects at the MTC. She has also served on PROINVERSIÓN committees and on the boards of public companies in the mining and energy sectors. In addition, she served as Administrative Manager of the Authority for Reconstruction with Changes.

Throughout her career, she has worked as a consultant in procurement, planning, and other administrative systems for various public entities. She is a specialist in Anti-Bribery Management Systems (ISO 37001:2017) and other international integrity and compliance standards for the public and private sectors. She also serves as an arbitrator and adjudicator on dispute resolution boards.
