INPERU 2025: PROINVERSIÓN RENEWS ITS COMMITMENT AS A STRATEGIC PARTNER OF PRIVATE INVESTMENT IN PERU

PROINVERSIÓN held working meetings with private investors to submit the portfolio of projects in the sanitation, transport, energy, education, health, tourism, and real estate sectors, among others.

Madrid, September 10, 2025.- The executive director of PROINVERSIÓN, Tabata Vivanco del Castillo, renewed the commitment of the Private Investment Promotion Agency – PROINVERSIÓN as a strategic partner of the national and foreign private sector, and of the different levels of government, to promote private investment and thus close the gaps in the country.

During her speech at the Round Table of the Spain-Peru Council Foundation, organized today in Madrid (Spain), the head of PROINVERSIÓN commented that the Agency continues to strengthen its synergy with the public and private sectors, and as a facilitator of investments and generator of a favorable environment for the awarding and execution of strategic projects in the country.

At the meeting, the Minister of Economy and Finance (MEF), Raúl Pérez Reyes, highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and consolidating Peru as a strategic partner and a reliable destination for investment and sustainable development.

Minister Pérez Reyes also highlighted the role of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and Projects in Assets, which are modernizing national infrastructure, generating employment, and improving the quality of public services, key mechanisms for closing gaps in less time and with greater efficiency.

The round table was also attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Peru, Alejandro Abellán García de Diego; the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), Desilú León; the President of inPERÚ, Mercedes Aráoz, among other authorities.

The executive director of PROINVERSIÓN also held several working meetings with private investors to present the portfolio of projects in the sanitation, transportation, energy, education, health, tourism, and real estate sectors, among others.

One of the projects that caught the attention of investors in Madrid was “Headworks and Conduction Works for the Supply of Drinking Water to Lima – Stage 1,” which involves an investment of US$696 million and is currently in the transaction and market opening stage.

PROINVERSIÓN currently has a portfolio of 80 projects under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) modality, for an amount over US$20 billion, to be awarded in the period 2025-2026.
