Lima, February 24, 2026.- Forbes Peru magazine included the executive president of PROINVERSIÓN in its list of the 26 key players in the economic and business agenda for the year, an editorial selection that brings together leaders from the public and private sectors whose institutional decisions will have a direct impact on the country’s economic direction. The list includes CEOs of large corporations, international executives, and economic authorities, positioning the Agency as a key player in productive development and attracting investment in Peru.
Over the past year, the Agency has made progress on high-impact projects such as the Peripheral Ring Road, the modernization of the Torre Trecca, the Ancón Industrial Park, Section 4 of the Longitudinal de la Sierra highway, the Amazon Waterway, the ports of Matarani and Marcona, as well as railway initiatives and the health investment portfolio for Lima and other regions, among others. These projects are part of a strategy aimed at closing infrastructure gaps, improving public services and boosting the national economy through the participation of the private sector.
The recognition also coincides with a key institutional moment for PROINVERSIÓN, marked by the entry into force of the new Public-Private Partnerships Law, which strengthens its technical and coordinating role throughout the project cycle. Furthermore, under the PPP 5.0 approach, the Agency promotes more collaborative, digital, and sustainable models aimed at accelerating investments and generating concrete results for the population.
The publication recognizes the leadership of public entities that play a key role in stability and growth, led by the president of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP), Julio Velarde. This international list not only recognizes individual achievements, but also highlights the role played by specialized public institutions in building trust, attracting capital, and executing projects that contribute to the country’s growth.
