The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) is participating in the first session of PPP Americas 2025, the most important event in the region on Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), organized by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) with the support of the agency and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF).
"They are all long-term investments, they are necessary investments to close the infrastructure gap, and we are quite excited and working on it. This is an important indicator of private sector confidence, which confirms the optimism of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) with the projected growth figures for this year".
The agreement establishes that PROINVERSIÓN and the British Embassy will promote strategies and mechanisms that favor the development of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) for the operation and maintenance of infrastructure, promoted by government-to-government agreements with the United Kingdom.
The PROINVERSIÓN team, led by the project director, Aldo Laderas, and the MINCETUR team, led by the director of Tourism Products and Destinations, Jorge Salguero, gave an informative talk in the district of Santa Teresa, province of La Convención (Cusco).
