Within the framework of the 37th edition of the PERUMIN Mining Convention, PROINVERSIÓN’s Executive Director, Tabata Vivanco, is promoting the portfolio of mining projects that the agency expects to award under the Asset Projects modality, on behalf of the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM).
The objective is to maximize the use of these assets owned or managed by State entities, to boost the development of infrastructure that closes gaps and promotes the economic growth of the country. In this way, it is sought that private investors contribute to the strengthening of public entities that lack sufficient resources to implement infrastructure and public services for the benefit of their localities, cities or regions.
Intending to promote sustainable development in the regions, the Regional Commonwealth of the Andes made up of Apurímac, Ayacucho, Cusco, Huancavelica, Ica and Junín, presented 85 investment projects through Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), Projects in Assets (PAs) and Works for Taxes, with a total investment of S/ 8341 million.
