OECD Guidelines

The OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises are recommendations addressed to multinational enterprises, setting out voluntary principles and standards for responsible business conduct, consistent with the laws in force in OECD member and observer countries. The purpose of the Guidelines is to ensure that the activities of companies are carried out in harmony with public policies, contributing to improving the investment climate and enhancing the contribution of multinational enterprises to sustainable development. PROINVERSION, as NCP, leads in Peru the task of disseminating and implementing the guidelines for multinational enterprises, acting in coordination with various public and private sector agencies as well as civil society organizations.
