National Contact Point

On July 26th, 2008, Peru became the forty-first signatory and adherent of the Declaration on International Investment and Multinational Enterprises of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)1 in recognition of its progress in terms of reforms to investment policies. As an adherent to this Declaration, Peru undertook to guarantee equal treatment for foreign and local investors, promoting responsible business conduct.

Likewise, Peru committed to the establishment of a National Contact Point (NCP), which is located in PROINVERSION, and is responsible for promoting compliance with the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, an integral part of said Declaration.
