OCDE
The OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) is an international organization that promotes economic and social development worldwide and recognizes the role of local and international investment, as well as the creation of effective public and private institutions.
Since July 26, 2008, Peru has been a signatory of the OECD Declaration on International Investment, which includes the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. Since 2009, ProInversion has been the National Contact Point (PNC-OCDE-PERU@proinversion.gob.pe) for disseminating and implementing the Guidelines for companies and participates as an observer in the OECD Investment Committee to learn about and implement the OECD recommendations aimed at consolidating the investment climate and promoting sustainable development.
